A Time to Mourn

My dear friend and critique partner, Lisa, lost her father this weekend. As I sit here thinking of what to post, this scripture came to me. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (Complete Jewish Bible)

For everything there is a season, a right time for every intention under heaven--
a time to be born and a time to die
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to discard,
a time to tear and a time to sew,
a time to keep silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

The time to die has past. The time to mourn is now. The time to weep and laugh at your memories is always. The time to heal, begins. I pray that your time to dance comes soon.

May your family have love and peace,
Robin
